Self Portraits - ‘Moon in her eyes’ series pt. 1

During one of my latest treasure hunting trips at the thrift store I found some rolls of film that expired in my year of birth (1988). It was the start of a new self portrait series in which I focus on one of the things that make me happy; playing with light. I have a strong fascination for natural light, I love the way it can create patterns, add warmth or a magical glow to your photos. Above all; you can’t control natural light, it can change completely in a couple of seconds. That’s what I like about it, it’s all about observation, waiting and a bit of luck. Here’s the first part of my new series ‘Moon in her eyes’. x
